WORKSHOP CONDUCTED AT BURREL MUNICIPALITY IN REGARD TO THE PROJECT “INCREASING THE CAPACITIES AND PROMOTING THE LOCAL PRODUCERS, HANDICRAFTS AND SOUVENIR PRODUCERS” (SRD/GIZ)

The project “Integrated Local Product Development”, aims increasing the capacities and promoting the local producers, handicrafts and souvenir producers” which is financed by GIZ in the frame of the programe“Sustainable Rural Development”. This project aims to promote the touristic values of the local producers, handicrafts and souvenir producers also the increase of their capacities through different trainings and workshops which aim the sustainable rural development and improvement of business capabilities.

In the frame of the program “Sustainable Rural Development”, and the project “Integrated Local Product Development/Increasing the capacities and promoting the local producers, handicrafts and souvenir producers”. The center for economic Development and International Relations has organized a workshop in Burrel on 14/07/2020 .This event occurred with the participation of several local producers.

Firstly it was made a brief presentation of the project and its main objectives from the staff of CEDIR.

The expert Mrs.KlodianaGorica started the workshop with the explanation of the importance of the tourism and its impact on employment, development and incomes.Mrs Klodiana made an extended explanation of the importance developing the rural products and services and how can we use our natural and historic values to make them useful for the tourism and the economy. Than local producers souvenir producers and farmers of the workshop were involved in a group exercises that aimed the to bring out the most important destinations and values of their city.
